Myers & Sons: 2016 AGC-CA Construction Safety Excellence Finalist

We recently learned that Myers & Sons Construction is a finalist for the AGC-CA Construction Safety Excellence awards – Heavy/Civil/Highway Division: 300,001 – 500,000 Worker Hours.  With a strong commitment to safety practice, technology and personnel training, Myers stays true to their motto of “Delivering the Impossible” while never losing focus on their greatest asset – people.

The AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEAs) recognize those construction companies who excel at safety performance. CSEA award selection looks beyond statistics for evidence of company management commitment, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.

In 2015, Mission Critical teamed with Myers & Sons for an incredible four Construction Safety Excellence awards:

  • 2015 AGC of California Safety Award of Excellence Heavy/Civil/Highway
  • 2015 AGC of California Safety Award – Unique Safety Application
  • 2015 AGC of California Safety Award – Superintendent of the Year
  • 2015 AGC of California Safety Award – Safety Effort of a Project Team

Final awards for 2016 will be announced at the Construction Safety Excellence Awards Luncheon held during the AGC-CA 2016 Fall Conference in Montery, CA.

Award winning projects are the result of great work in the field and early planning for success.  Want to learn more? Amy Orr, Mission Critical’s Proforma Guru, discusses “Positioning your Project for Award Success” in a great article here.
