J. Banicki Construction – 2015 AGC Build Arizona Winner
J. Banicki Construction recently received a 2015 AGC-AZ Build Arizona Award for their outstanding work on the Terminal 4 South Apron ASR Reconstruction at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Competitive criteria for this award is established by the Arizona AGC (AZAGC) and included:
- Meeting the challenge of a difficult job
- Excellence in project management
- Innovation in construction technique or materials
- Sensitivity to environment and surroundings
- Excellence in client service
- Contribution to the community
- Safety statistics for the project
Banicki President Mike Abraham was on hand to receive the prestigious award at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort on Friday, April 08, 2016. Each year the AZAGC recognizes companies and individuals for innovation, creativity and safety.
This is one of four awards the firm has received for this project including the International Partnering Institute (IPI) 2016 Partnered Project of the Year, the American Concrete Institute (ACI) 2015 Excellence in Concrete Construction; and 2015 Arizona Transportation Partnering Excellence Award.
